What is it?

The Bridge Christmas Shop provides a fun and affordable Christmas shopping experience for families identified through the FBS Foster Care & Adoption Ministry and The Bridge.

The Bridge receives new toy donations from the community, First Baptist Spartanburg, and partnering organizations.

Bridge Volunteers price these new, donated items at a tenth of their original cost for purchase by the families. Families can then spend up to $20 for three or fewer children plus $5 for additional children.

This is a great opportunity to empower parents and guardians who wish to provide Christmas for their children.  On December 14 & 15, families identified and referred to us will come and shop on our campus.

The Bridge provides a fun shopping experience complete with Christmas music, Christmas cookies, hot chocolate, coffee, and complimentary Christmas wrapping.

If you want to partner with the Bridge Christmas Shop, please bring all donations to the Bridge, the FBS Welcome Center, and the FBS Hangar (look for the rattan baskets). Volunteers will sort donations and price each item. On the morning of December 14 volunteers will set up for the Christmas Shop to begin on that Saturday afternoon, December 14.
