As Pastor Harder continues the Christmas sermon series, he shares this message about what Christmas looked like to the angels. Through the message of the angels that night, God revealed His plan to the shepherds. This was the first Gospel proclamation of the Good News that God was bringing a Savior to all people. God was sending a child to earth so that we can become His children. He is offering all people a chance to be part of His family and share His favor.
Although life is filled with conflicts, unrest, losses, addictions and hostilities, Christmas is all about God's gift of peace through Jesus Christ. He invites us to embrace this peace and live a life filled with joy and a right relationship with God and others.
Are you embracing the peace of God? Are you at peace in your heart with God? Pastor Harder challenges us to receive the joyous message of the angels and behold the Lamb of God. Will you pursue peace?

At First Baptist Spartanburg, we are working in accordance with CDC and DHEC regulations to ensure that you and your family have the safest and best possible worship experience. The Bridge is open Monday-Thursday. Our food pantry is available on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9 am to 12 noon. Our clothing closet is open on Monday - Thursday from 9am-12pm. For Financial Assistance please visit our website to watch an informational video for the application. We accept clothing donations including shoes, belts, purses, and coats at the bridge Monday - Thursday from 8am-6pm at the main entrance.
